There are four wines exclusive to Messina Hof Hill Country Winery. Each label showcases a piece of Fredericksburg history. Fredericksburg was founded by Prussian bureaucrat, John O. Meusebach. He had a vast interest in what was then called The Republic of Texas, and wanted to pursue his interest in geology and horticulture. He proudly served as Commissioner General of the Society for the ‘Protection of German Immigrants in Texas’, also called the “Noblemen’s Society”.
